Bosnia
November 2013- Eastern Europe and Central Asia are regions that I enjoy immensely. Bosnia’s history is both fascinating and tragic- but the country’s resiliency and grit continues to leave an impression on me. I could spend hours walking the streets, observing people, and remembering rakija-soaked nights.
As a semi-relevant aside, if you find yourself wandering around the old Winter Olympics stadium along the outskirts of the city- do yourself a solid and stay away from the wild dogs that have set up camp there. I learned the hard way but got a nice unexpected viewing of the highlight and lowlight reels of my life.
